About Us
Tyler Greiner, PharmD
Tyler is the managing pharmacist here at Midwest Compounding and specializes in compounding and business management. He began working here in May 2016 after earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Iowa in 2015.
He takes great pride in being a part of a professional pharmacy that cares for their patients and realizes medications are not one-size fits-all.
When not at the pharmacy, Tyler enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeye, playing sand volleyball, and spending time at the lake with his family.
Rick Pauley, R.Ph
Rick is a staff pharmacist here at Midwest Compounding and specializes in compounding.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University in 1993 and began working here in February of 2022. He previously owned Five Star Compounding Pharmacy worked at Iowa Methodist Hospital prior to that.
When not at the pharmacy, Rick enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and working on DIY projects.

Midwest Compounding is an affiliate of Medicap Pharmacy of Central Iowa; as the pharmacy world, and compounding specifically, have evolved, our team has stayed on the frontlines. For more than 40 years, our group of pharmacies have been caring for Iowa families.

Our team has been specially trained to prepare customized medications to meet every patient's special and unique need. It is our aim to educate our patients about the fact that compounded prescriptions must be prescribed by a licensed practitioner and compounded by a licensed pharmacists in a licensed pharmacy.
